The University of Scranton Athletics Department produced a historic 2025 –26 campaign, capturing nine Landmark Conference championships, the most by any school in conference history. The Royals won titles in field hockey, women’s soccer, women’s swimming and diving, women’s indoor track and field, women’s basketball, women’s outdoor track and field, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse and baseball. The achievement highlights the depth and consistency of Scranton’s programs across all three athletic seasons.
From fall through spring, Scranton teams consistently performed at a championship level. Scranton also captured the Landmark Conference Presidents’ Trophy, awarded through a formula that rewards institutions for regular season standings and postseason performance in conference play. The record-setting year reflects a culture of sustained excellence built on strong coaching, development and competitive drive. With nine championships and the Presidents’ Trophy, Scranton has established a new standard in the Landmark Conference and elevated expectations across its entire Athletics Department.
