Field Hockey Head Coach Colleen Moyer Earns 200th Victory

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, field hockey head coach Colleen Moyer earned her 200th career victory with the Royals’ 2-0 victory over Misericordia.
Moyer became the program’s all-time winningest coach during the 2019 campaign and is the only coach in program history to reach the 200-win milestone. She helped guide the Royals to consecutive Landmark Conference titles in 2019 and 2021 and an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2021.
During the 2021 season, Scranton set a single-season program record with 18 victories and finished the season ranked No. 18 in the NFHCA Top 20.

Men’s Soccer Head Coach Matt Pivirotto Earns 200th Career Win

The University of Scranton men’s soccer head coach Matt Pivirotto earned his 200th career win with a 1-0 victory over William Paterson on Saturday, Sept. 16. Pivirotto became the second coach in program history to reach the 200-win mark.
Pivirotto has guided the Royals to three Landmark Conference titles and four NCAA Tournament runs in his 24-year tenure as head coach. Scranton advanced all the way to the Elite Eight in 2012 and made second round appearances in both 2015 and 2016.

Volleyball Team Head Coach Jamie Spangler Notches 200th Career Victory

Head coach Jamie Spangler of The University of Scranton volleyball team notched his 200th career victory with a 3-1 win over DeSales. Spangler previously became the winningest coach in program history during the 2021 campaign and is the only coach to reach the 200-win milestone.
In his 11 seasons at the helm of the Royals, Spangler has led the program to four Landmark Conference runner-up finishes and two NCAA Tournaments including the second tournament victory in program history with a 3-0 win over St. John Fisher in 2022. He has also posted six 20-win seasons.
