If a picture says a thousand words, the photography of Terry Connors (1945 - 2021) spoke volumes of the daily life of The University of Scranton for more than 50 years. His images have captured presidential inaugurations, building dedications, student orientations, fall move-ins, graduate and undergraduate commencements, alumni reunions, and just about every other event – big and small – that has occurred on and around campus during the past five decades. He was such an integral part of the University that he is the only non-University employee to be inducted into the Pro Deo et Universitate Society, recognizing 20 or more years of service.
Several years ago, he generously donated his photo collection to the Weinberg Memorial Library, giving generations of Royals an easy way to view his work and glimpse bygone times for the University and City.
