The men’s basketball team won the Landmark Conference title for the seventh time in the conference’s 10-year history. The Royals captured the crown with a 68-63 win over Moravian in the championship game in the Long Center on Feb. 25. They advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a week later. Senior center John Vitkus was named Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference, while junior guards Ethan Danzig and Kevin Doolan were second-team honorees.
