Student Among Just 123 ‘Innovation Fellows’

Christopher LoGiurato was among just 123 students in the nation named “University Innovation Fellows” by the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation.

Senior Christopher LoGiurato was among just 123 students from 52 higher-education institutions in the nation named “University Innovation Fellows” by the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation, a program run by Epicenter, funded by the National Science Foundation and directed by Stanford University and VentureWell.

The Fellows completed six weeks of online training and then participated in the University Innovation Fellows Annual Meetup in the Silicon Valley, where they took part in immersive experiences at Google and Stanford University.

LoGiurato (left) was sponsored by Alan Brumagim, Ph.D. (center), entrepreneurship program director and associate professor in the Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship Department and Michael Mensah, Ph.D. (right), dean of the Kania School of Management.

LoGiurato, of Wilton, Connecticut, is majoring in business administration and entrepreneurship. He is the founder of Wayne House Designs, a club through which student entrepreneurs develop products and run their own businesses.
